We hiked up the Elk Creek Trail in Colorado with our kids and good friends. It was hot, there were lots of bugs and a little complaining. But that evening was gorgeous. We went out into the marshy valley and the kids fished on the Elk Creek. The colors were so brilliant; greens, purples and golds. This moment captures my friend and his son.
