“McCabe Barn” is a watercolor capturing the weathered barn from my childhood; a place where I once raised animals, stacked hay, and played through long summer days. Each July, my family hung my grandfather’s WWII flag in its wide front opening, marking the barn as both a working space and a quiet memorial. Though now dilapidated, the barn stands on the old McCabe property as a symbol of family history, memory, and the passage of time.
